Amazon’s Drew Herdener Joins TLF Board of Directors

LOS ANGELES (July 17, 2025) – Drew Herdener, senior vice president for Amazon’s Communications and Corporate Responsibility organization, has joined The LAGRANT Foundation’s (TLF) Board of Directors. Herdener previously served as a host committee member for TLF’s 26th and 27th scholarship program in 2024 and 2025, respectively.

“I could not be happier to have Drew join TLF’s Board of Directors,” said Kim L. Hunter, TLF Chairman and CEO. “He has already made an impact these past two years as a host committee member, and I look forward to partnering with Drew to expand our partnership!”

In his role, Herdener leads Amazon’s communications team to tell the story of the company’s impact through its culture, innovation, and customer-centric approach to internal and external audiences. He also oversees Amazon’s Community Impact team, which aims to address issues in areas such as education, food security, affordable housing, and disaster relief. Initiatives include utilizing the company’s delivery and transportation network to deliver food directly to families in need and investing in affordable housing through the Amazon Housing Equity Fund. Amazon’s Sustainability efforts are also under Herdener’s leadership, where the company has an ambitious commitment to reach net-zero carbon across its global operations by 2040 through The Climate Pledge.

“I am thrilled to join TLF’s Board of Directors,” Herdener said. “I have been a longtime supporter of the foundation’s mission, and I am excited to work alongside Kim and the rest of the board to continue doing the important work of supporting the next generation of industry professionals.”

Herdener joined Amazon in 2003 and has held positions including vice president for corporate communications, vice president of public relations for Amazon Europe, director of public relations for Amazon Web Services, and director of public relations for devices and digital content. He also serves on the Board of Trustees for Seattle University, where he earned his bachelor’s degree in English and Mass Communications.
